Lizzy trained in Theatre Design at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where she was awarded the John Elvery Prize for exceptional design work. Prior to this, she studied English Literature at Warwick University and worked as a technician and scenic artist at Warwick Arts Centre.

An experienced assistant designer, she has assisted Fly Davis on a number of productions at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and the National Theatre. Lizzy is a member of the Creative Alumni of The Gate Theatre, Notting Hill.
